follow these steps

1. Go to your browser and type  maps.google.com
2.  Key in Japan to China
3. Press Enter
4. Go to step 41, and you will see something rather amusing, Jet Ski !!! Woohooo!! Jet Ski Across Pacific Ocean!!!

Now For Case #2

1. Step one, go to browser and type in maps.google.com
2. Now, Key in Taiwan to China
3. Look at Step 23,  Swim across the Pacific Ocean !! 165km Swim. Who on earth can swim 165km???

Now on to another case:

1. USA to China
2. Now, instead of Jet Ski or Swim, we get Kayak across the Pacific Ocean, twice. !!
